Alan is a proven technology leader and strategic visionary with more than 25 years of experience leading teams and developing SaaS product solutions for healthcare and financial services markets. He is passionate about making it easier for healthcare professionals to serve the people under their care, and turning ideas into true business results. He holds a U.S. patent for using big data technologies for healthcare master data management, and received a B.S. in Mathematics from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Prior to joining NextStep as the Chief Technology Officer, he was CTO of GSI Health, a population health management SaaS company, where he provided the vision and leadership for their technology platform and engineering teams. Additionally, Alan has held leadership positions at several other high-tech companies throughout his career, including Frontline Technologies, Health Market Science, and Shared Medical Systems.
He loves the outdoors, fitness, a good book or movie, and staying active with his family.
